GUIDELINES
Guidelines for Submission:
-
We explicitly give preference to the works of POC, LGBTQ+, People with a history of migration, and youth that are NOT studying Fine Arts at Universities.
-
Similarly, we will give preference to works written by people living and dealing with what they write about.
-
The submission needs to be the original work of the artist.
-
It should not have been published in print before your submission to Pierced.
-
You will get hate mail from us if we catch you submitting works that aren’t your own.
-
-
Any form of analog content is accepted.
-
Poetry, Articles, Photography, Grocery Lists, whatever, etc you get the gist.
-
-
No form of hate speech or any other form of oppressive language/art is welcome.
-
We will make the call whether we deem it acceptable or not.
-
The two main editors are Queer and Jewish, so we take our shit seriously.
-
-
The limit to photography is 10 pieces per artist or per body of work.
-
The submissions need to be in English or translated into English by the artist.
-
The limit to word count is flexible, but everything over 5 pages, will either need to be mind-blowing or be written by the next Tony Morrison.
